ADAPTIVE CLIMBING OPTIONS

Our goal is to empower every climber that visits the gym to reach their potential. Whether it be through staff engagement with climbers or conscience route setting, we put our climber's needs first. Just as we recognize that every climber is coming to us with a different ability level, we also recognize that those with special needs may need to approach rock climbing differently. As such, we have developed a variety of climbing activities to accommodate everyone. Below is a small sampling of these activities:

  • Flying Squirrel - Allows climber to be pulled into the air experiencing a floating sensation.

  • Crawl Tubes - Climber may enter and exit via climbing utilizing spacial awareness.

  • Mini-Zip - Climber rides the zip on a seated or harnessed apparatus practicing upright balance. May be used in combination with ball toss activites.

  • Wall Climbing - A variety of routes are set up for vertical movement which emphasize balance and coordination.

  • Challenge Course - Climber traverses a series of balance beams and cables above the ground.

** We possess speciality equipment for individuals with limited mobility in extremities as well as partial paralysis.
