Doylestown Rock Gym -- Educator Resources
The use of adventure activities and climbing walls in Physical Education is a booming trend. In some cases, the district has embraced this movement by investing in a district wide initiative in all grade levels. In other instances, it is the driven teacher who has secured funds via the school or donations to install a wall. And, every now and then, you get the zealous PTO who just purchases the wall whether the school wanted it or not! Regardless of how the climbing wall has been obtained, one aspect has been consistent.....teachers need support! We applaud those districts that invest in training year after year. However, not every educator is that lucky.
Be it training, climbing wall holds, or just general climbing information, educators have come to us seeking resources. We have worked with many local teachers and administrators to identify key areas of support and will continue to do so with your feedback.
